SOMO Pricing

School holiday assignments

KSh 120 per learner, per campaign.

Use the private link and learner access code supplied by your School. A verified payment unlocks a personalized learner PDF. No SOMO account is required for parents.

Individual generated resources

Choose the grade, subject, topic and language you need. Your final quote appears after the selected resource and its options are identified.

Generated assessments and exams

Individual generation is available to Students, Teachers and Schools. Each exam follows its selected curriculum scope and independent review.

Marking schemes

Standard marking schemes are included where indicated on the assessment or package. Detailed worked schemes are a separate optional add-on unless the selected package explicitly includes them.

Multi-subject generated pricing

Bulk generation requires an active School workspace. Select the subjects first; the server quotes the exact configured tier. Each subject retains its own paper and scheme.

Ready-made SOMO resources

Purchase an existing reviewed resource at its direct configured price. Resource-specific prices appear on the selected product page.

Grade and school-level packages

These are educational-resource packages. Read the selected package’s contents, grade coverage and included schemes before buying.

Strand and coverage packages

Select the required level and coverage. Each package has its own configured price and stated contents.

School maintenance subscriptions

Per-term maintenance gives access to institutional workspace services. Paid resources and generation remain separately priced.

Combined-level subscription pricing is not yet available. A School offering multiple levels must wait for an explicitly configured subscription; individual level amounts are never combined automatically.

Creator Marketplace

The creator sets each marketplace resource’s price. View the exact current amount on its product page before checkout. SOMO does not automatically reduce or overwrite creator prices.

Creator share: 70%. SOMO share: 30%.

SOMO Referral Programme

Individual programme: Active. School programme: Active. Paused transactions do not earn rewards; existing earned balances remain intact.

A School qualifies once, whether it offers Primary, Junior School, Senior School or multiple levels. Renewals, additional levels, new administrators and teacher invitations do not earn another School reward.

Registration alone earns nothing. Pending or failed payments do not clear rewards. Suspicious rewards may be held for independent review without blocking a legitimate purchase. A refund or reversal can reverse the associated reward. Cleared rewards join the existing SOMO referral balance.

Before you pay

Your grade, subject, resource type, scope and options identify the product. Checkout confirms the exact server-calculated total. An unavailable product cannot be purchased. Completed orders retain the price and terms used when purchased.

School subscriptions cover maintenance only. Educational packages, generation and optional worked schemes remain separate purchases unless the product explicitly lists an inclusion.
